Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara

As promised, here is my review on the Clinique Extreme Volume Mascara.

I purchased this mascara earlier this week after reading great reviews on the Clinique and Sephora website. It comes into colors, extreme black or black (I purchased the extreme black).

Clinique's description:

With every stroke, the over-the-top brush wraps lashes in instant, jaw-dropping drama. This larger-than-life formula is also safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. Ophthalmologist tested, too.

This mascara retails for $19.

Shown here is a photo demonstrating the application of the mascara. From top to bottom; no mascara, one coat, two coats, and three coats. 

Prior to applying the mascara I used the Tarte eyelash curler (review coming up).

As shown here, it definitely gave me a lot of volume and length to my eyelashes, however, once I began to apply the third coat, my eyelashes were feeling clumpy and sticking together. I normally use two coats, but for review purposes used three.

Packaging wise, i love the silver tube, it gives it a sleek look and the brush is perfect! I don't have any problems using it so far. 

Overall, it is a great mascara, not sure if I will repurchase again. I might work with the mascara a bit to see if I can reduce the clumpiness.
